i broke your heart and you left me
arrogant and foolish
i told the truth and set you free
though you were all i wished

you happily were caught in webs
though i tried to save you

i fear what you will do

you caused such harm, you would not see
outcomes of your choices
blinded by the follies of youth
you missed crying voices

but i loved you far more than all
made my rash decision
to harm no more to give up all
division from vision

what harms you do i pray on me
i should have kept you safe
condemn my soul in doing right
fated to be a wraith

fifteen month anniversary
reminds me of my pain
six months gone from my one soulmate
